Here Comes The Bride

On Friday I had the privilege in acting as matron of honor in my best friend Erin’s wedding.

Erin and I go back about 10 years to our early college days. Our friendships is one of those that has so many great stories that you never know where to begin.

The wedding and reception were held at the Madison in Covington. The ceremony was by candlelight and was absolutely beautiful. I had never seen a wedding done that way. I think it made me more emotional……

My son, SM, was also in the wedding as the ring bearer. He and Erin’s daughter, AM, are very close in age and were the perfect participants.
Here is a picture of Erin and her husband Brian from the rehearsal dinner party. It had an eighties theme and everyone really got into it. Brian actually got that great outfit on E-Bay and found that AMAZING stone-washed jean jacket for a mere $7. I was green with envy as I had actually worn a similar jacket back in the day, only it had suede patches on the shoulders.
