So, BAB had another hard night last night. The poor thing tossed and turned all night long, constantly waking himself up. Finally, after numerous trips upstairs to calm him back to sleep and gave in and brought him to our bed. I knew that I shouldn’t do it, but her is so snugly and I knew that once in our bed he would sleep soundly.
Well, while this is typically the way it works, it didn’t really happen that way last night.
He continued to toss and turn. I think he must have been having a nightmare about not having a ba ba (he LOVES his Ba ba) because he just kept mumbling..”Ba ba no, Ba ba no.”
I around 5 a.m. I decided to give in and go and get him a ba ba. It was insane, apparently it was all that he wanted because as soon as I filled the ba ba he grabbed my hand and led me to his room, saying “up, up.”
I know I shouldn’t give in and let him continue this obsession with his ba ba, but it is hard. I know that it is something I will need to address soon. I would love any insight from any of you that have gone through this before. SMB never had a ba ba obsession so breaking him of the ba ba was easy. BAB is different. He sees the ba ba and a look of joy comes over him.
Is a ba ba a pacifier or blankie? I think blankies are fine for awhile!
Hey, Jude had a binky until a little past 3 and Lily still uses hers.
Both Jude and Lily have blankies..
AKA Woobies.
SO do what you have to do : )
