Thinking Blogger Awards

Cara over at Working Moms Against Guilt has nominated MommyBits for a Thinking Blogger Award.

I have to say that I am pretty flattered. I am a big fan of WMAG, and for them to enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy theirs, means a lot to me. As a winner of the award I must now nominate 5 blogs that make me think.

Here they are:

Life of Dad:
This Daddy blog follows a Daddy to be on his journey into fatherhood. His witty and humorous posts are complemented each week with his creative baby namer polls. If you’ve ever wondered about the male perspective on pregnancy, this is a blog you’ll want to bookmark. Here’s a good place to start.

Chicky Chicky Baby:
With millions of us moms out in the blogosphere Chicky Chicky Baby is a real stand out. She blogs about her life and adventures as a mother. After reading the post, What could be considered grounds for divorce, I knew I’d be back, and I’d be back often.

BinkyTown:
Another great mom blog that tells it like it is, BinkyTown is a blog I read on a regular basis. Amy’s blog is funny and insightful and shares with its loyal base of readers, her experiences as a mother and well as her thoughts on motherhood and life in general. Her post, Friends in High Places is a great place to start, if you’re wanting to see what I’m talking about.

Grant Miller Media:
I am not quite sure how I stumbled across GMM, but I can’t imagine not reading it. From his list of meaningless encounters he’s had with celebrities, to his inspirational messages, GMM is one of the funniest blogs I have found. It you are looking to laugh and to say “hmmm…” then you need to check it out.

World’s Best Burger:
Comparing news to a hamburger, this blog comes with all the fixin’s. Written by two intelligent women working as “word” people, WBB is a great place to go if your looking for a little reading that you’ll not only enjoy, but that will make you think too. To see what I’m talking about check out this post on the eat local movement.
