What Grocery Stores Really Need

There has been some talk locally in Cincinnati about grocery stores offering valet service. While this is nice, what they really need are “grocery runners” for moms (or people in need).

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my boys with me in the car and needed just an item or two. It would be great if they had these runners that would dash in and get your groceries for you. You could set a limit – less than 10 items, etc.

It would be something that I know a lot of moms would take advantage of. Have you ever tried “running” into the store with children in tow that might be cranky or sleepy? I would drive cross town for the service.

Do any of you have this service where you live, or better yet, do you have grocery delivery?

  1. No delivery service around me, other than LaRosas. It’d sure be nice, though.

  2. That is a great idea!
I have always thought that either ALL stores get a drive through.. express items.. like 10, or I need a babysitter to just sit in the car with me while I go in and out of stores.
