Last weekend we decided to venture out from our usual routine and head up to Young’s Dairy Farm in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It is just about 45 minutes north of Cincinnati and has enough things to do to make it well worth the drive.
Young’s has 2-18 hole golf courses that are amazing.
For just $ a child, grown ups ride free, you can take a spin on the ‘Farm train’.
While we didn’t see any actual cows (kind of weird) they do have a large petting area with goats. Unlike the zoo, it only costs $.10 for a huge handful of goat feed. This was probably the boys favorite part of the day. We spent A LOT of time here.
They have two large farm tractors that kids can climb and play on.
They also had great options for food. You could eat at country cooking’ style restaurant, get burgers, etc from their ice cream shop or bring your own and eat in the shaded picnic areas. We chose to eat at the country style restaurant and it was great. The food tasted just as you would imagine farm food to taste.
Finally, one thing you must try if you go is their homemade ice cream. They use the milk that comes from their dairy cows. It was the best ice cream I had ever tasted.
That looks like fun! We will have to go!
Those pictures are too cute.
