Tag, I’m it??

So I have to say that I am absolutely flattered to be tagged by Marketing Mommy for an “8 Random Facts About Me” meme. This is my first meme ever (yes, I was a meme virgin) and was quite surprised to be tagged as I have been a very neglectful blogger recently. Before I begin let’s review the rules:

1) Post these rules before you give your facts

2) List 8 random facts about yourself

3) At the end of your post, choose (tag) people and list their names, linking to them

4) Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they’ve been tagged

And now… my facts:

1) I was born in West Germany and was a duel citizen until my 18th birthday.

2) I’ve got SPIRIT, yes I do, I’ve got SPIRIT, how ’bout you? I was a cheerleader in middle and high school.

3) I grew up in a small town in Iowa. I’ve shucked corn, rode a hog and partied on a dirt road.

4) I have a weird thing about hamburger. I love it. No matter what I cook, it seems to end up as part of the recipe. It drives my husband crazy.

5) I love Lionel Richie. There. I said it, it’s out there, let’s move on.

6) I once rocked in the New Year “Droppin’ Like it’s Hot” on the dance floor, much to my husbands horror and my friends entertainment. Needless to say I was home and passed out by 12:15 a.m.

7) My husband and I have been together since 1992. We met while I was still in high school – he was the ‘cool’ college guy.

8) I love beef jerky and Slim Jims, but ONLY on vacation.

And I tag you:

  1. Thanks. I have to admit that was the most embarassing night of my life. That’s what happens when you try to drink after not drinking for a long time.

  2. Lionel Richie….?? I’m not sure that we can still be friends. Ok. We can. But please don’t make me listen to him too.

  3. I lived in West Germany (Bonn and Berlin) for 6 years of my childhood, so we have that and marrying our teenage sweethearts in common. But Lionel Richie?
