Fun Product Gets Kids Washing
About a month ago Mom Central asked me if I would want to try out a new product on the market called Squid Soap. The hand soap, designed for children, uses an ink stamp (hence the ‘squid’ reference) to help teach children how long they should be washing their hands.
Here’s how it works, it’s really simple. When the child presses down on the pump a peas sized red dot is stamped onto their hands. The red dot is important because it ensures that the child spends the proper amount of time washing. It takes about 20 seconds of washing to remove it.
I have to say I love this product. My boys are now constantly finding reasons to wash their hands – where before, they would never remember. They’ve had so much fun that we went through most of the bottle over the course of just a couple of days.
The company was nice enough to through in some coupons but I have to say that I’d buy this prodcut even without them.
Disclaimer: This is an independant review. I was only asked to try the product and complete a survey about my experience. I was not asked to review Squid Soap or post about it, my boys just loved it so much that I thought I’d tell you about it.

I have to say that I really liked this product too. While it is a pretty simple concept, it actually has my kids asking if they can wash their hands. I love it.
