Random Bits – Questions for the Holidays

After a long day of shopping, I’ve got questions……

1. Dear Man in the Chevy Malibu: Who told you that framing your license plate with beer bottle caps was a good idea? I have a hunch that it was the same person that suggested you glue them directly onto the license plate.

2. Dear Retailers: Why do your torture me by showing me items that are not currently available or that are not available online? Do you think you are funny?

3. Dear Holiday Shoppers: Who gave you the right to be so indignant? Where have your manners gone? Why do you not care that your cart is blocking the isle and that others would like to pass?

4. Dear Lady in Stein Mart: I appreciate you coming up to me to compliment my child. I would hope however, in the future, that you double check before calling my son “such a pretty little girl.”

5. Dear Flea Market Owners: Is the Flea Market really a destination for Santa pictures? I mean your Santa looked a little disheveled and I could smell cigarette smoke on him as he walked by. I don’t mind smoking, but Santa? Come on.

  1. Too funny! You made it though.

I went to Toys R Us to just look around and there I was walking around 9 months pregnant holding my 2 year old hand’s and people were actually very nice. It was refreshing.

  2. I hear ya!
    Hilarious!
The cart thing in the aisle..
I look like a crazy person b/c I am always walking around the store muttering under my breath (or sometimes out loud) about those people.
Yes, thanks for moving, I appreciate it.
I didn’t realize you were SO IMPORTANT that you don’t have to move for me.
and on and on and on.
    Amie
OH and B Man does not look like a girl.
    Amie

  3. I wish I could have seen your face when the woman from Stein Mart came up to you. That’s hilarious.

That’s why I’m anti Black Friday and pro Cyber Monday!

  4. Oh my… that Santa must have been scary! I can’t imagine a “Flea Market Santa”

I too am an anti-Black Friday person. Simply because I hate rude pushy people and crowds.
