With their Dad out of town on business, tonight I’m attempting to let the boys have their first real “slumber party” (with each other, at home, in my bed). I’m waiting to see how it works out. So far they are just whispering to each other, but staying I’m bed. This will be fun to watch and I’m trying to be optimistic about it. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Don’t they look cute snuggled up together?

UPDATE: The boys did a wonderful job. It took about 30 minutes for them to fall asleep, but they did it. They proved to me that they could sleep in the same room, and actually sleep. I joined them around 10:30 p.m. ( I was beat) and stole a small section of the bed. The only downfall I really saw was that the B-man, who is an early riser, woke up – at 6:00 a.m. – his first instinct was to wake up SM.

So while I’ve been up since then, I think it’s fair to say the “slumber party” was a success.
