Random Bits… Bowl Drama, Breasts and Half Naked Dancing

This evening I had the audacity (lol) to put SM’s salad in the orange bowl (pictured on the right). Apparently, because this is a bowl that I used to feed the B-man his baby food when he was younger, it is not appropriate. When I handed him the salad in the orange bowl he promptly informed me that he couldn’t eat it. Quickly channeling my mommy ninja skills, I turned around, dumped the salad into a blue ceramic bowl. SM’s reaction? He scarfed it down. Boys…..

I mentioned previously that my friend Erin had her baby on Wednesday. Earlier today she was getting ready to breastfeed her son Ben when when her daughter Ash walked into the room. Ash had not seen her breastfeed yet and being a curious 7 year old, began asking her the sorts of questions you would imagine.. As they were talking her husband walks into the room and Ash tells her, “Mommy, you can’t let daddy see your breasts!” Erin informs her that it is OK because she is feeding Ben, and that it’s natural. Ash replies with, “OK, as long as he doesn’t see your other parts.”

With Marty out of town I put in a video for the boys while I made dinner. This is what I found when I walked into the living room to check on them. Here they are dancing to a song in the video, without their shirts on. I have no idea why they had their shirts off, but they thought it was HILARIOUS!

  1. That breast feeding story is adorable. I love that her daughter was concerned that daddy my see her private parts….lol. You have to love that innocence.

  2. LOL! Over the years, I’ve had several mommy ninja moments myself. My sister and her husband call me McGyver for my ingenuity!
