Imagine What His Teacher Must Think of Me…..

Today SM game me this beautiful picture that he made in school. Pictured are myself (center), SM (right) and the B-man (left). When I asked SM what we were doing in the picture he replied:

“I’m cleaning the windows and B-Man is scrubbing the toilet. You are just resting.”
I almost immediately think to myself, “Oh my gosh, his teacher must think I’m horrible!”
Before jumping to more conclusions I ask SM what the picture is about, since the title is “Love is…”
Now here is where it gets sweet: He tells me, “Love is helping your family.” What a sweet sentiment. I thought it was so thoughtful and it immediately changed my impression of what I thought was being depicted. I am a very lucky Mom.

A friend of mine’s daughter wanted to get her a slave for Christmas when she was in Kindergarten. She said “Mommy needs help around the house”….needless to say the school was not impressed.

    Awww, that is very sweet!
I remember having a conversation with my son’s Kindergarten teacher a couple of years ago…she was always asking us questions with a lot of detail… and she confirmed, she knew EVERYTHING! Baby’s starting with her this fall, can’t wait to find out what she tells the teacher!

This just shows me we have NO love at our house…No love of helping Mom that is.

“The Boy” did mention how nice it would be if we had servants to which I replied
“Not happening Kiddo..The pay sucks here!” LOL!
