A fun opportunity to let your little one’s artwork shine

SM and The B-man have really been into painting and coloring lately and my pile of amazing, unique (priceless) artwork has been piling up. Well the other day I was watching PBS Kids Sprouts with the kids and saw that you could submit your child’s artwork through their site to be considered for sharing on air during one of their programs.

I did a little investigating and found that Sprout showcases children’s artwork every weekday on The Sunny Side Up Show (airs from 9am – noon ET). The on-air host, along with puppet sidekick, share viewer submitted artwork and recognize each “artist” on TV by first name and the city they’re from. I think the boys would get a kick out of it and am thinking of submitting some of their work.

Here’s a link to info. on how and where to send your child’s art if you are interested in checking it out:

  1. Thanks for the tip. Also, sorry to hear about your husband’s car. That really stinks.

  2. That’s cool. I’ve always thought of doing the birthday card thing, too, but never got into gear and got it done. You’ll have to tell us when their artwork is on.

  3. I’m going to check it out! I have a painting my daughter did in the 1st grade, that is so beautiful, I had a custom frame made for it.
