Happy Birthday SM

Yesterday my baby, SM, turned 6 years old. We celebrated over the weekend with a party at Silverlake, the family gym we belong too.
As I sit here, trying to write this post, I can’t help but cry a little. SM is our first born. He is the little person who changed my life. The little guy who turned my whole world upside down. He made me love being a parent and want to have more children. His arrival changed the way I felt about children, about life and what real priorities were. He helped me grow up and appreciate life and the little things.

So while he may never read this, I hope he knows how much I love him – How much I want for him – How much I wish for him.
I just can’t imagine my life without him (or remember it before him).
