A Blissfully Great Weekend!

As you know, this past weekend I traveled down to Nashville for BlissDom08. Even though I was battling a cold and congestion, I had an amazing time.

With the help of Epson printers and One 2 One Network, Alli (FussyPants) and her partners in crime at Blissfully Domestic put together a great day of learning, sharing and camaraderie at the swanky Preston Hotel.

Throughout the day I had a chance to meet many of the bloggers I’d hoped. Friday evening we ran into Dawn from Kaiser Alex in the hotel lobby. She was checking in at the same time as Susan, Amy and I. I knew I would love her the moment I saw that she was wearing her bedroom slippers!!!

The next day at the conference, imagine my delight when Jenny from Mommin’ It Up introduces herself. She looked just like her profile picture and was about as nice as you could ever imagine. We posed for several photos and sent mad love to Emily, Jenny’s blog partner, back home.
Around lunch I worked up the courage to introduce myself to photog extraordinaire, Secret Agent Mama. She was sitting near us and I had been waiting for just the right moment to say hello. Michelle is absolutely wonderful and I loved chatting with her about our kids. I’ve known her for so long through Wordless Wednesday (which I suck at) and it was great to meet her in person. Last but not least, I FINALLY met Jamie from the Blonde Mom Blog.

Later that evening we all went to dinner where the Cincinnati gals had the pleasure of eating with the Nashville crew – Jamie (Blonde Mom), Elizabeth (Busy Mom), Amy (Milk Breath and Margaritas), and Malia (Live, Laugh, Love)and Kelly (Mrs. CPA) and her little tater tot, Maddie.

On Sunday, Jennifer from Play Groups Are No Place For Children joined us and we wrapped up the Nashville trip with a visit to the THE PANCAKE PANTRY! If you’ve never been, the pancake pantry serves the best pancakes in the world. Amy loved them so much she referred to them as “Christmas on a plate!”

Well, that about wraps it up. Hopefully when they do it again in February I will be feeling much better.

I again want to thank Blissfully Domestic, Epson and the One 2 One Network for making this happen. You really did a great job.
