Did you know that November is home to World Children’s Day? I discovered it today while purusing the Ronald McDonald House Web site. According to the site, during the month of November McDonald’swill contribute a portion of select product sales as well as sell $1 Give A Hand for Ronald McDonald House paper hands. McDonalds around the world will be participating and all of the money goes to improving the lives of children.
In just 7 years World Children’s Day at McDonald’s has raised more than $124 million for RMHC and other children’s causes around the world. Not only do customers contribute, but so do McDonald’s employees, owner/operators and suppliers.
I’m sharing this because I just love this idea. Talk about an easy way to help make a BIG difference! As a Mom whose children are always up for a happy meal, it’s nice to know that my money is not only going toward feeding my children, but to helping other children too!
