Who Does This to Their Children???

If you’ve been following the Caylee Anthony story than you’ll be interested to know that the media is reporting that searchers may have found her remains.
The 3-yr old litte girl from Florida was reporting missing in July of this year. Controversy arose when it was discovered that she had actually been missing since June. The prime suspect in the case is Caylee’s mom, Casey. The mother has lied continueoulsy through out the investigation and is currently being held on first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.
From the Orlando Sentinel:
Orange County deputies said a meter reader found the remains of a young child this morning in the area of S. Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive — less than 1/4 mile from the Anthonys’ home on Hopespring Drive. Spokesman Jim Solomons of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the remains were found in a bag.
Todd Black, the spokesman for Casey Anthony’s defense attorney, said the utility worker picked up the bag and a skull rolled out of it. Residents said duct tape was found around the skull, but those reports have not been confirmed by law-enforcement official.

This whole story has really broken my heart. Being a mother I find it hard to believe that another mother would ever be capable of doing something like this to their child. I know it happens but I just cannot even imagine. What the hell???? What kind of person harms their child? What kind of person does this? I just want to vomit.

Truly horrible, huh?!? We don’t have TV in the Lettre home, so I have to keep up on CNN.com. Still, it blows me away. Probably even more b/c we struggled to have a 2nd child.

Oh. My. Gosh. I haven’t watched the news lately and didn’t know of this latest discovery. It makes me absolutely sick as well. I’ve been volunteering at a center that treats physically and sexually abused children (some as young as 2) and it absolutely breaks my heart to see the lives that some of these children lead.

I don’t even understand the logic behind spanking your kids…
It’s just so disgusting when you consider all the people who desperately want a child, but for whatever reason, can’t have one. Then, you have people like this in the world… Oh it makes me so mad.

This is horrible. I can’t imagine any mother doing this to their own child or any one elses for that matter! Some people are really screwed up that for sure.
