Mouthwatering Monday – Biscuit Pizzas

Happy Mouthwatering Monday!  This week I’m sharing a simple and fast way to make pizzas that are sure to be a hit with your kids. We made these over the weekend and both boys loved the novelty of the miniature pizzas. In addition to being a quick fix, the mini pizzas can be made to suit the tastebuds of your tiny diners. So if someone likes just cheese, and someone else loves pepperoni – no problem!

INGREDIENTS:
1 tube of biscuits
1 package of shredded cheese
1 small jar of pizza sauce
Various pizza toppings

DIRECTIONS:
Remove the biscuits from the tube and role each one flat. Once flat, place in oven for 2-3 minutes to allow the dough to partially cook. Remove the dough from the oven and add your ingredients. We started with the sauce and cheese, then added toppings. Once topped, place pizzas back in the oven. They are ready when the cheese appears melted.

TOTAL TIME:
15 minutes

  1. yummy! thanks for sharing! funny, i’ve never tried this with my kids…but i used to make something similar when teaching preschool…we made apple pizzas….cheese, diced apples, cinnamon/sugar, and a small pat of butter on top. The students loved them! I had forgotten about them until you posted this, I will have to use both of these recipes with my kiddos.
