A Mob is Forming in Cincinnati for Maddie

Today is a sad day.

Something that every parent hopes will never happen, happened. Heather, who blogs at The Spohrs are Multiplying, known by many as @mamaspohr on Twitter, lost her daughter Maddie yesterday to respiratory complications.

To show our support, a group of local bloggers are getting together to walk in Maddie’s honor in the Cincinnati March of Dimes March for Babies Walk on April 26th.  If you are interested in joining us, you can view our team page, here.  We’ll be walking as Maddie’s Mob! You can also make a donation  by clicking on the March of Dimes widget on the top right side of my blog.

You may recall that Heather was one of the women I was trapped in the elevator with at BlissDom this past February.  My heart is breaking for her and her husband Mike right now. She is an amazing woman. No one should have to deal with losing a child.

NASHVILLE AREA: There is a Nashville team forming! If you would like to join: The Nashville March of Dimes Walk is on April 19th. Lotus from Sarcastic Mom will be posting more as details are finalized.

Are you part of a team in another city? Let me know. I’ll add it to my list.
