Partying Mommin It Up Style

Last night AmyinOhio and I ventured up to the Northern side of Cincinnati to attend what would turn out to be one swanky part-tay hosted by Jenny & Emily of Mommin’ It Up. Sponsored by Johnson’s Body Care, the party was to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. 

To raise money for JDRF, Jenny and Emily worked with some of the companies they’d worked with at Reviewin’ It up to get raffle items donate. We all then purchased tickets and then placed them in the carious containers of the items we were after.  I personally had my eye on a few things — a set of chairs from Land’s End, some cleaning products from ECO Store, a collection of bug hunting tools for the boys and a super cute apron to wear during my Once a Month Cooking effort. Well…. guess what! A miracle happened. For the first time ever, I won something. Matter of fact, I won TWO things!  I wanted to fall over. 

In addition to the great food and prizes, there were a lot of really cool gals (and bloggers) in attendance. Check em out:

      How fun. I too rarely win in raffles. I once won a stuffed dog toy… and at the time I didn’t even have a dog, lol!
