Contest Closed. We have a winner — Seeryus Mama!

It’s that time of year when the children head back to school. When things quiet down around the house and our children head back to learning about the world around then.

In conjunction with the back-to-school season, Brita has launched a new campaign to help children get ready to head back into the classroom- in an eco-friendly way!

To help kids back-to-school ready, Brita and FilterForGood have created “Back to School Eco-Friendly Kits.” Each kit comes complete with a FilterForGood reusable bottle, Brita pitcher and other health eco-friendly gear.

The FilterForGood campaign works to reduce plastic waste by reminding people that filtered water and a reusable bottle are a good solution to cut down on bottled water waste at home and on the go. You can learn more by visiting filterforgood.com, including bottled water waste statistics and green tips from Josh Dorfman, the “Lazy Environmentalist.”

So here is the fun part. FilterForGood has offered to give one of my readers a “Back to School Eco-Friendly Kit!” That’s right. One lucky reader will win:

1) FilterForGood reusable bottle
2) Brita pitcher
3) FilterForGood reusable bag
4) Eco-friendly back to school items
- Pencils from recycled wood
- Rulers from recycled plastic
- Scissors from recycled plastic
- Notebooks from recycled paper

In addition to their Back to School kits, Brita and FilterForGood are also encouraging consumers to take the Go Green, Save Green Pledge. Everyone who takes the pledge is eligible for a $5 Brita Coupon!
