Walk Through Memory Lane

I am my a stalker. When it comes to documenting the lives of my children – one might say this statement is true. I love taking pictures, I love capturing memories. I want to document our journey so that my children can share with their children who can share with their children and so on.

Today, Michelle over at Paper Glue Etc tagged me to participate in a blog hop that focuses on photos – totally right up my alley! (Great idea Jamie!)

The rules for this hop:
Go to the place where you upload all your photos. If you don’t upload them online, just go to wherever you store your pics on your computer. Open the oldest album, and post the first photo. Tell the story behind it. Grab the MckLinky and post it on your blog. Just for fun, tag 3 people you want to see old photos of.

Not having a lot of photos on my laptop, I turned to my Snapfish account – which I started back in 2004.  To be honest with you, I hadn’t used my Snapfish account in forever. As a matter of fact I’d forgotten about a lot of the photos that I had stored there.  So much so that I actually started crying when I found these pictures of Sean.

These two photos are from November 2002. We’d just spent a ton of money on photos around Halloween (you know how you always over spend on photos at first….) and we didn’t want to spend a ton on Christmas photos so we decided to try and create our own. What resulted was a photo shoot using our bedspread as a background!

These pictures just have so many memories for me – our first Christmas as a family, the year our first child was born, our life down in MainStrasse Village. So many things I hadn’t thought about in years.

Now I have to tag three people…. Hmmm. I tag Katie, April & Amy!
