So, So, Random

I think I have writers block. I can’t think of anything I want to write about.
To pass the time ’til my drive to write returns, here are some random updates.
- The boys are fine. Soccer started again last week. Sports of All Sorts off Mt. Zion Road officially sucks and is now charging parents & guests $2 to watch their children to play soccer. Needless to say this will be our last session at Sports of All Sorts.
- I had my first disagreement with someone in the social media space this week. It sucked. Makes me question everything. I am the least confrontational person in the world.
- Still not as involved in SM’s school as much as I’d like. I haven’t been able to volunteer in the classroom yet and it makes me sad. I really want to get involved.
- My brother moved up from Dallas. He’s doing really well and I am loving having him here. It’s been 15 years since we lived near each other.
- My cousin got engaged to a girl I adore.
- Work is going really well but I am having a hard time adjusting to the 4-day work schedule.
- I just got back from an amazing trip to Nashville where I met my BFF’s 6-wk old daughter for the first time. She’s gorgeous and my friend is rocking it as a new Mom.
- I “cheated” on my hair dresser of 8 years with another stylist at her salon and loved the hair cut he gave me. She called me this week to say she’s moved to a new salon and I am thinking about st
aying at the old salon with the guy I “cheated” on her with. I am a horrible client. - I finally took the boys to Aglamesis Brothers in Oakley Square for ice cream. It was the most amazing ice cream we’d ever tasted. I can’t believe we haven’t been there sooner. Run. Don’t walk. http://ow.ly/CLBj

I agree I hate paying to have to watch my child play a sport when I have already paid to register. Okay if one day they are at the saddledome playing NHL hockey than I will pay but for now it ticks me off!! Thanks for the update.

OMG! I am so happy to hear your brother moved here! I know how happy that made you! You guys only do four days a week now? That sounds awesome! Maybe you can find time to volunteer on the day off?!? I am so happy that you have your family here now…=)

WHHHAAATT charging to watch your kids. That is RIDICULOUS. Sounds like things are good! You will get into the school to volunteer.. now worries… you are a good mom! AND you are NOT a bad client. I cheated on my friend who is a hairdresser and stayed with my hair mistress… she understood.. no worries! Sometimes confrontation isn’t bad.. usually someone learns something from the situation..
