The B-Man is determined to buy Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. He’s been saving his money for weeks, counting it daily. This has def. been a good lesson in “earning” your toys and understanding the value of a dollar.

He looks so serious! Good for you B-Man!!
Hi Shannan! I’m a dad from California, and I have a son who is now 7 years old and in the 2nd grade. He’s been saving his money as well, and recently opened up his own savings account at the bank, just like mommy and daddy. It’s a cool savings account for kids because every time he makes a deposit, even if it’s only $1.00, he get to pick an item out of the treasure box.
Yes, of course, they are cheap little trinkets, but he sure looks forward to it. I’ve never seen a little kid get so excited about making a deposit at the bank!
