So if you read my other blog, Family Friendly Cincinnati, you know that I was recently invited by Whole Foods Cincinnati to participate in the Whole Foods Meal Planning Challenge. In a nutshell, Whole Foods challenged me to feed my family of four for a whole week on food I purchased at Whole Foods. The challenge portion? By using meal planning, shopping store deals and using store coupons, do this on just $100. Learn about the challenge and check out all my money saving Whole Foods shopping tips.
One of the meals we made during the week was pizza. Whole Foods has a great store brand called 365 Everyday Value. For the pizzas we picked up 365 brand ready made crusts (came two to a pack), a can of 365 black beans, some 365 shredded cheese and a jar of Enrico’s all natural pizza sauce. From my pantry, I grabbed some onions and a can of organic diced tomatoes that we already had on hand.
We went with two pizzas, one cheese and one more southwest style. To top it off we included a side of 365 Veggie Chips.
I have to say, the crusts were big and tasty (considering they were pre-made) and this was a really quick and easy meal to make, perfect for those nights when you have soccer or ballet, etc. We will def. buy these ingredients and make this meal again.
Disclosure: Shannan was invited by Whole Foods to participate in this Whole Foods Menu Plan Challenge. For the Challenge they are providing her with a $100 gift card to do her shopping, a $100 gift card to giveaway on Family Friendly Cincinnati, and a final gift card as a thank you for participating.
