About This Cincinnati Gal
Hi, Welcome to Mommy Bits! I’m Shannan, a 37 year old wife, mother and career gal from Cincinnati, Ohio. During the day I run Scooter Media, a public relations and social media consulting company in Cincinnati, but at night and on the weekends it’s all about my family and enjoying the Queen City. I was lucky to find the love of my life at the young age of 17. We’ve been married for 11+ years and have two amazing boys- ages 7 and 10, who rule our worlds.
I’ve been writing here at Mommy Bits since 2006 and have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, many of whom I now consider to be great friends, even though they live all across the county. My writing has enabled me to experience some amazing things and work with some amazing companies such as PBS Sprout, Procter & Gamble (Febreze, Tide & PUR), Lands’ End, Tyson, Ronzoni, Listerine & Brita, to name a few. I take my blogging seriously and have attend conferences around the country including BlogHer – 08, 09, 10; Blissdom – 08,09,10; BlogWell -10; PodCamp Ohio, among others.
In addition to writing this blog, I am the owner of Cincinnati’s largest parenting blog, Family Friendly Cincinnati.
