Blogger Day at the Reds

Never one to let a little one stop me from having some fun, this morning I loaded up the family and we headed down to Bellvue to partake in the tailgate party for Blogger Day at the Reds. Arranged by my friend Amy and sponsored by our friends at Chevy (Hey Leslie!!) we had a blast hanging out pre-game with other local bloggers, even with the rain!

In addition providing all the food, coffee and juice we could handle, Chevy had two of their 2009 Equinox’s on site for us to check out. Not quite as cool as the Traverse they let me drive during the Chevy BlogHer Carpool, I wouldn’t have been mad at Leslie if she would have let me drive the dark blue Equinox home!

As luck would have it the rain ended up clearing up right before game time and we all hopped on the Southbank shuttle to Great American Ballpark.  The rain managed to stay away for most of the game, and the Reds ended up crushing the Marlins!!

Here are some pictures from the day:

Baseball and Ballet

Here in Cincinnati we are lucky enough to have a VERY ACTIVE social media community. It really does seem like there is always an event or meet up taking place.  Well along those lines… I wanted to share two cool events that are taking place on September 20.

Blogger Day at the Reds (open to bloggers, blog readers, people who like people who write blogs, people who know people who read blogs… you get the picture)

Amy of AmyInOhio is bringing together all of Greater Cincinnati’s online community – #bigdealmoms, Cincy Women Bloggers, Cincinnati Imports and others– to hang out and watch the Reds take on the Marlins on Sunday, September 20th.  Only 100 seats have been reserved so you want to get yours ASAP. Attendess are welcome to bring their families.  Tickets are at group ticket pricing – just $9 each, with the section being located near the cheap beer and dollar dogs.  All tickets must be paid for by September 4th.
