This morning I walked into our office to find the boys playing on the computer. They were playing Catz, a game for the PC by the creator of Petz. If you are not familiar, the game involves creating a virtual pet and then caring for it – feeding it, playing with it, disciplining it, etc. (It’s a lot like WebKin World, only not as obnoxious).
We’ll imagine my surprise when I walk over to see this:
That’s right. My boys had made me into a CAT! A burmese to be exact. While the cat is cute (sort of) I am wondering what in the world made them think to make me into one? Not knowing anything about the Burmese, I headed over to the Cat Fancier’s Association Web site:
Burmese are extremely people-oriented (CHECK)
Enjoy cuddling up in bed either under the covers (CHECK)
They delight in helping to manage the house (NOT SO MUCH>>>)
The females tend to request center stage and take an active role in ruling the household (CHECK>>>LOL)
They mature into charming, resolute executives who move in and take over a household, running it efficiently (DEADD ON!)
Burmese often convert the most anti-cat person into a Burmese enthusiast (I HAVE BEEN TOLD I’M CHARMING!).
OK. So my kids are brilliant. Maybe I am the human version of a Burmese…..lol
