Today the boys and I had the best time making glass ornaments at Brazee Street Studios in Oakley. Each Saturday they have open house hours where kids (and parents) can come in and make that months project. Cost was just $15 per ornament.
This is definitely something that we’ll be adding to our “to do list” each month.
This weekend my other blog, Family Friendly Cincinnati, is partnering with Whole Foods to throw a Summer Block Party and everyone’s invited! There will be lots of music and fun for the family, a cookout and the Cincinnati Zoo will also be there with some of their animals. All proceeds from this great event will go to the Drop Inn Center of Cincinnati. Everyone is asked to bring unopened dry goods and nonperishables to donate.

I don’t know about you, but I thought things would be easier once the boys were both in school. Boy was I wrong. Having two children in school is a lot of work. From homework to after school activities, it seems I’m running around even more than ever.
