What you are seeing here is a snapshot of a typical evening at our house. It’s how the boys unwind. They could spend hours creating and recreating things with their LEGOS (and they do). It’s also something I love, because it means they are using their imaginations, not vegging out watching a Cartoon Network show or asking to play games on the iPad. It’s just good ole’ fashioned fun. While I love that they are using their imaginations and playing (nicely) together, what I don’t love, is picking up the bajillions of LEGOS at the end of the night. Trying to scoop them up and get them back in the bucket can be a hassle, especially with the smaller LEGO pieces. It’s not that it’s hard, it’s just time consuming.
